If you're with a 501(c)(3) organization interested in submitting a Letter of Intent for the 2026–27 Grant Cycle, please join us at one of the above in-person overview meetings. We will review updates to the grant categories, outline what you can expect from us throughout the process, and clarify expectations for funded partners.
If your program provides services within our four pillars—Healthy Community, Youth Success, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency—we encourage you to apply.
Letter of Intent Details
The Letter of Intent (LOI) will be submitted through a brief application form within our grant portal and must be submitted by midnight on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
We highly recommend using your email address as your username in the portal.
The Letter of Intent Portal will open in January 2026.
All LOIs will be reviewed by the Crossroads United Way team to determine alignment with our program goals. Selected programs will be invited to submit a full Program Grant Application. All applicants will be notified of their LOI status via email by February 13, 2026.
Financial Documentation Requirements
- Grant seekers will be required to submit their most recent IRS Form 990 and an independent financial audit or financial review, depending on annual revenues.
- Organizations with annual revenues above $800,000 must submit an independent financial audit.
- Organizations with annual revenues of $800,000 or below may submit an independent financial review.
- All documentation must have been completed within the past 18 months.
Grant Term
Approved grants will be funded for the period of July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027.
