Bill Purcell serves as the President & CEO of Crossroads United Way, leading the organization across Elkhart, LaGrange, Noble, and Steuben counties. He returned to the United Way after nearly 30 years, having previously served as Vice President of the United Way of Elkhart. Prior to this role, Bill was a faculty member, advisor, and administrator at the Center for Social Concerns at the University of Notre Dame for over 18 years. He has also held nonprofit and ecclesial leadership positions in Chicago and Washington, D.C.
Under his leadership, Crossroads United Way has expanded its reach to serve a broader community, enhancing its impact and fostering stronger partnerships across the region. Bill's extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and community engagement continues to drive the organization's mission of "neighbor helping neighbor."
