Are You Ready to Hit the Water?
The Great Cardboard Boat Race is more than just a day on the water—it’s a community fundraiser full of creativity, teamwork, and fun. Teams build boats entirely out of cardboard and race them across LaSalle Bristol Pond, all while raising funds to support Crossroads United Way’s mission of advancing youth opportunity, financial security, community resiliency, and healthy community.
On Friday, August 14, 2026, from 11 AM – 5 PM at LaSalle Bristol Pond in Elkhart, racers will test their skills, spectators can enjoy exciting races, great food, and family-friendly entertainment, and sponsors will help make a lasting impact. Whether you’re building a boat, cheering from the shore, or partnering as a sponsor, you’ll be part of turning cardboard into real change for our community.
