Crossroads United Way Celebrates Jersey Mike’s in Angola for “Good Goes Beyond the Sub” Partnership

Angola, IN — January 26, 2026 — Crossroads United Way is excited to recognize Jersey Mike’s Subs in Angola for their generous support through the company’s “Good Goes Beyond the Sub” community giving initiative. As part of their new store’s grand opening in December, Jersey Mike’s selected Crossroads United Way as their local nonprofit partner to receive donations from customers and community members during their first week of operation.

To celebrate their opening, Jersey Mike’s offered customers a free sub with a donation of $3 or more and also placed donation boxes throughout the store to encourage additional giving. Thanks to the generosity of Jersey Mike’s and the Angola community, Crossroads United Way recently received a donation totaling $1,974.29.
“We are incredibly grateful to Jersey Mike’s for choosing us as their community partner and for believing in the impact of local giving,” said Bill Purcell, President/CEO of Crossroads United Way. “Their support, along with the enthusiastic response from the Steuben community, will directly help local families stay strong, stable, and connected.”

Funds from this partnership will help support vital services across Steuben County, including utility assistance, prescription assistance, and early literacy development through programs like Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
Crossroads United Way also extends heartfelt thanks to the customers who visited the new Jersey Mike’s Angola location and chose to give back in celebration of the store’s grand opening. United is the Way!
